Group Risk Officer

Astrum Search is working alongside a global commercial business to help them recruit a Group Risk Officer into their small but high functioning audit team. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit & Risk, you'll play a key role in the group’s ongoing risk management strategy. This is a highly visible role that will see you shape how the risk management is delivered and embedded across the Group. Key Responsibilities: Develop frameworks for measuring risk and reporting emerging trends Consider the Group’s principal risks and continuously review the system in which the Group manages these risks day-to-day. Risk identification and monitoring – consider how the Group identifies new risks and monitor changes to the existing risk environment. Working closely with the Internal Audit team to review risk mitigation measures for relevance, suitability and completeness. Skills & Experience: Degree educated – professional qualification desirable, but not essential Experience of internal audit or risk management practices. Strong communication, commercial judgment, and analytical skills You'll have a high level of autonomy and be part of a business with a fantastic culture.
