Description Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers. Coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems. Analyse logistical problems and devise new solutions. Implement health and safety procedures. Manage staff training issues. Motivate other members of the team.Profile A successful Traffic Planner should have: A comprehensive understanding of the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry. Proven experience in a similar logistics role. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail. Ability to work effectively within a team. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
