Senior Pricing Actuary – Pricing – London – Hybrid – Initial 3 month contract - Paying up to £1,000 per dayMy client is an Innovative, Bespoke Solutions Underwriter looking for a Senior Pricing Actuary for an initial 3 month contract to add extra support to their current Pricing function. This position is based in London 2/3 days per week and will be paying up to £1,000 per day!!!Role ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the end-to-end pricing process including policy, tool suite, inflation studies, control processes and roadmap and links with portfolio management, claims and reserving.Manage actuarial resourcing to support the underwriting referrals workflow, ensuring timely delivery of standard and bespoke pricing models.Provide leadership on deal pricing, rate, price adequacy, binder deep dives and horizon scanning as required.Provide challenge, review and sign-off loss and pricing models and defend the loss pick to senior management and capital providers as required.Oversee and enhance the exposure management process to ensure catastrophe risk is understood, managed in line with agreed risk appetite and reflected in decision making.Direct account performance and market conditions monitoring, sharing insights to drive continuous improvement.Explore novel data sources, alternative analytical tools and techniques to further innovate on internal approaches.Skills and ExperienceStrong stakeholder management and the ability to build productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.Solid understanding of case pricing/deal pricing.Excellent knowledge of London Market insurance.Qualified member of the Institute of Actuaries or equivalent.Experience in and comfortable using programming languages such as SQL, Python and VBA.Excellent communication skills to represent Pricing to a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.If you would be interested in this excellent opportunity, please apply now!!!
