Head of Human Resources @ Sixth Form School / College (North London)Act as the externally facing representative for HR for the Trust.To ensure that all schools in the Trust receive excellent, efficient and effective HR support.To advise Trust and School leader on compliance and risk management issues.Act as a business partner / coach to senior managers and build positive relationships to ensure consistency of approach and to develop an understanding of the importance of good HR practice / leadership.Lead and develop the HR team members and deploy them effectively to ensure that both they and the HR function deliver an efficient, effective and professional HR service to Academies.Introduce and drive change management initiatives.Develop and maintain all HR related policies and procedures, systems and processes underpinned by statutory compliance and best practice.To report on HR KPIs to the Staffing, Operational & Management Committee.To create and implement the HR action plan.To create and implement a recruitment and retention strategy for the Trust with the goal of attracting, fostering, and keeping exceptional employees in all positions.Ensure that the Trust complies with the requirements of the Public Sector Equality Duty. Develop effective professional working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including colleagues, educational advisory boards, trustees, trade union representatives and external agents.Oversee investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance.
