Join us in shaping a brighter Arriva. Job Opportunity: Shift Fitter We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our Bootle garage as a Shift Fitter. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will maintain our fleet of PCV vehicles. Salary: £19 - £25 per hour (depending on experience) Responsibilities: Service and repair vehicles to Arriva and DVSA standards Improve vehicle standards continuously Prepare vehicles for MOT Diagnose faults and ensure maintenance meets Arriva's high standards Work shiftsRequirements: Recognised qualifications in PSV/HGV maintenance (e.g., Level 3 NVQ) Ability to work safely and independently Electrical knowledge is a plus PCV licence is a plus Experience with vehicle inspections (training provided); IRTEC accreditation is advantageousBenefits: Competitive salary and benefits Contributory pension scheme Career progression opportunities Free bus pass for you and your family
