Job Description:

As a PR Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the team in executing creative and effective public relations campaigns. You will work closely with account managers, senior executives, and clients to help manage communications, drive media engagement, and achieve impactful results. This role is ideal for someone is eager to make their mark in the PR industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of PR campaigns for a variety of clients, ensuring that objectives are met and clients are kept informed.
  • Draft press releases, media alerts, blog posts, and other content to communicate client messages effectively.
  • Conduct media outreach to secure coverage in print, online, and broadcast channels, building strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Monitor media coverage, prepare regular reports, and evaluate campaign results, providing actionable insights to improve future activities.
  • Coordinate events such as press briefings, media tours, and launch events, ensuring smooth delivery and positive client and media experiences.
  • Maintain and update media contact lists, distribution databases, and coverage trackers.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, maintaining client records, and handling inquiries.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a PR, communications, or media role (agency experience is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and a flair for storytelling.
  • Strong media relations skills and the ability to build relationships with journalists, influencers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive attitude and the ability to contribute fresh ideas.
  • A passion for the media landscape, with an understanding of how to secure impactful coverage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with PR tools (such as Onclusive, etc.) is desirable.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to be a team player.
