The Role: We're seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the quality, security, and performance of applications and AWS cloud environments. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Developers, QA, Infrastructure Engineers, Security and Compliance teams, Account Managers, and Incident Management teams. Your goal will be to maximize uptime, resilience, and performance across our cloud infrastructure and applications. Key responsibilities: Participate in on-call rotations and incident management to quickly resolve issues affecting system uptime. Oversee weekly production code releases, ensuring smooth deployments. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to improve system scalability and reliability. Maintain strict security and compliance standards. Build and maintain robust monitoring systems for application and system health. Manage monthly patching and maintenance of critical production systems. Develop and maintain scripts or automation tools to streamline routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications: Experience in site reliability, DevOps, or systems engineering. Knowledge of cloud service operations, including monitoring, alerting, automation, and notifications. Proven experience managing cloud-native environments, particularly AWS. Familiarity with containers and container orchestration platforms. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and languages. Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go) with the ability to write and understand code for task automation.
