My Client requires a Proving Engineer / Senior Trials Engineer / Trials Manager within the Defence Industry. If you're an enthusiastic and motivated professional with experience in conducting Trials and producing documentation, then this role offers you an excellent platform to work on international, multi-million pound projects. Role Overview: As a Proving/Trials Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, conducting, and reporting on Equipment Level Proving activities. This critical role will see you owning and delivering key elements of the proving process. Trials will take place across various UK facilities, giving you the opportunity to travel and collaborate with stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute trials for defence equipment proving activities. Produce technical documentation and reports on trials. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, building a strong network. Support continuous improvement within the team and contribute to career development initiatives.Skills and Experience Required: Engineering degree or equivalent experience. Strong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and in teams. Experience in writing technical documentation for trials. Experience with trials for defence electronic technologies and systems proving methodologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.Essential:- Documentation writing / Trials knowledge Working pattern: Hybrid - but as a role including trials this might mean weeks not needed no site, and then 3 or 4 weeks on site every dayTravel:- Occasional - a week at a time around the UKPlease note:- Before being able to start, you will be required to have SC Security Clearance.
