Job: Field Service Engineer Job type: Permanent Fulltime (40 hours per week) Office location: Ipswich Salary: £14 per hour (Earning potential to earn between £40,000 - £50,000 annually depending on travel availability) Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a passion for travel and technical problem-solving? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated International Field Service Engineer to join a globally recognised team. Key Responsibilities: Install, commission, and maintain Converting Equipment machinery at client locations around the globe. Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site to ensure machines operate efficiently. Provide comprehensive technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance. Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems. Ensure all service activities meet company standards and client requirements. Prepare detailed service reports for each project.Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in field service engineering (ideally with automated machinery.) Strong hands-on skills with mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent troubleshooting and independent problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40% travel, with trips lasting 2-3 weeks). Must hold a valid passport and driver's license.Preferred Skills: Experience with Siemens TIA Portal is highly desirable. Experience with PLC programming and automation systems. Knowledge of international machinery standards and regulations.Compensation & Benefits: Company vehicle and Payment card provided Door-to-door pay with enhanced overtime rates: 1.3x for regular overtime, 1.5x for Saturdays and the first 8 hours of weekend overtime, and 2.0x for Sundays. 28 days of holiday.
