Production Operative Start ASAP £11.44- £14.30 an hour- Full time Baxenden Accrington Monday to Friday: Morning Shift The Gi Group team are recruiting for Production Operatives to work in the Baxenden, Accrington area. This is working for one of the UK's largest food manufacturer. At this location, the company produce high quality pies and puddings. After 12 weeks, many of our Production Operative colleagues are offered a permanent opportunity with our client, leading to even greater job security. The role is in an ambient area and full personal protective equipment will be provided. This includes safety footwear, goggles, overall, oven gloves. Production Operative responsibilities include: * The production operative role will involve processing & packing over an 8 hour shift pattern on a Monday- Friday basis. * Be comfortable working and packing in a busy indoor manufacturing area. * Able to work with and contribute as part of a large site team. * Work within the Food Safety/ H&S and site specific regulations. Production operative working hours: Monday- Friday: 07:30- 21:00, hourly rate £11.44, Overtime rate: £14.30 Overtime rate is time and a quarter, 25% more than standard rate of pay. This is paid after 36.5 hours worked (standard week), after deducting breaks. The Production Operative role will suit individuals who work well in a team, have good attention to detail, are reliable and flexible with good time keeping and available to complete shift work within site-specific regulations.
