Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Conceptual Creative Director with a strong focus on social media, yet versatile and experienced enough to excel across all areas of advertising. The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leading successful creative teams and campaigns that resonate across multiple platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of digital trends, social media dynamics, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and inspire diverse audiences. Our successful candidate will also be required to be hands on in craft and creation when required in a fast paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Creative Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire the creative team to develop innovative concepts and ideas that align with our client’s vision and goals.
  • Oversee the execution of creative strategies across social media, digital, print, TV, and other advertising channels.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms.


Social Media Focus:

  • Develop and execute cutting-edge social media campaigns that drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and best practices, and implement them into creative strategies.
  • Collaborate with social media agencies and content creators to produce high-quality, shareable content.


Concept Development:

  • Conceptualise and pitch big ideas for campaigns that captivate audiences and deliver on client objectives.
  • Translate marketing briefs into creative strategies that resonate with target audiences and deliver measurable results.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other creatives to bring concepts to life across multiple media formats.


Client Interaction:

  • Present creative concepts and campaigns to clients, articulating the strategic and creative rationale behind each idea.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing creative solutions that exceed expectations.


Team Management:

  • Mentor and guide a team of creatives, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support the professional development of team members.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.


Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including strategy, account management, and production, to ensure creative alignment with overall campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, freelancers, and production teams to deliver high-quality work.


Performance Tracking and Optimization:

  • Analyze the performance of creative campaigns, using insights to refine and optimize future work.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance creative processes and output.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a similar role, preferably in an advertising agency or creative studio.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful campaigns, with a focus on social media and cross-platform executions.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing creative teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of marketing strategies and how to translate them into compelling creative concepts.
  • Digital Savvy: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, digital trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and clients, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with top-tier brands across various industries.
  • Familiarity with video production, photography, and other forms of multimedia content creation.
  • Knowledge of data-driven creative strategies and performance marketing.
  • A deep understanding of production techniques and how to implement them into your thinking
  • A vast working knowledge in Adobe CS
  • The ability to scamp ideas to help sell in ideas and explain rationale both internally & externally
