Injection Moulding Technician

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment have partnered with a multi-national manufacturing company, who are looking for an Injection Moulding Technician to join them on a permanent basis.

Injection Moulding Technician job responsibilities:

• Running the operation of injection moulding and actuator assembly production lines
• Complete accurate and timely quality control tasks to ensure products meet customer specifications
• Perform preventative and technical maintenance of all production lines this includes the cleaning and lubrication of equipment
• Reactive maintenance and repairs of automated lines, packing and palletisation equipment
• Installation of new equipment and modification of existing
• Continuous improvement design, develop and implement ideas
• Stock take when necessary

Skills and experience required:

• Mechanical/electrical experience is advantageous
• Plastic injection moulding experience is essential
• Pneumatic maintenance experience is desirable
• Able to read diagrams, technical drawings and manuals
• Able to fault-find to a component level
• Strong understanding and ability to implement Health and Safety requirements
• Aware of the importance of hygiene and quality standards in manufacturing
• Analytical and computer skills

Hours:

24/7 shift pattern 2 days shifts (6am to 6pm) followed by 2 night shifts (6pm to 6am) followed by 4 days off
