Director of Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Director - Building Services - London - £100 – 120k Package I am working with a Multi-Discipline, International Consultancy who are looking for a Mechanically focused Director to support the Operations Director (electrical bias) and the Board of Directors in the growth of the overall MEP team and delivery of projects throughout the UK and UAE. As a Director, your responsibilities will include: Business Development – winning work with new clients as well as maintaining and developing existing relationships. – Proven experience of new BD would be beneficial. Lead presentations for new project opportunities and co-ordinate with other offices where required. Develop pre-qualification documents, tenders and or presentations as required. Assisting in the management of the London office Control of the commercial management of the London team Oversee project resource and fees – Project forward planning Managing coordination of projects with internal and external teams. Lead, develop and manage the London team of engineers, technicians and administrative staff to ensure a high level of technical quality and commercial performance. Support to other Directors in all fields including and not limited to; sales, resource control, problem solving, design advice, etc. The current London MEP team sits at 15 engineers, and they are looking to double this over the next 3 years. My client has a strong order book for the rest of the year and 2025 but has ambitions to diversify into other sectors if the opportunities arise.
