Job Title: Business Studies/Economics Teacher Location: Christchurch, UK Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Business Studies/Economics Teacher to join our secondary school in Christchurch. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to Key Stage 4 and 5 students, inspiring them to achieve their full potential in both Business Studies and Economics. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on students' learning and development. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies and Economics for GCSE and A-Level students Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and curiosity Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum materials and share best practices Prepare students for exams and ensure they meet or exceed expected academic outcomes Participate in extracurricular activities, including clubs, workshops, and trips related to Business and Economics Engage with parents and carers to communicate student progress and areas for improvementRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification Experience teaching Business Studies and Economics at secondary level, particularly at GCSE and A-Level Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills A commitment to creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment Ability to start immediately and commit to a full-time teaching role
