Commercial Gas Engineer

Role Overview: The Gas Engineer will perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances across Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Operating remotely, you’ll ensure safe and efficient system operations in line with industry standards, documenting all work accurately and supporting small installation tasks as needed. Flexibility to work varied hours and take part in an out-of-hours call-out rota is essential. Location: Yorkshire & surrounding areas Responsibilities: * Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. * Collaborate with team members and sub-contractors to prevent operational disruptions. * Assist in sourcing information for quotes and report issues promptly to management. Skills and Experience Needed: * Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and problem-solving ability. * Experience with commercial facilities maintenance, including fault-finding on traditional and modern equipment. * Proficiency with SMART devices and completing digital documentation. Qualifications: * Full UK Driving Licence. * Commercial Gas Qualifications (essential) * Proven experience in similar planned and reactive maintenance roles.
