4 on 4 off days and nights (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)
Overview
This is a great opportunity for an electrical engineer or electrically biased maintenance engineer to join a growing company and site. As an electrical engineer / maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance as well as getting involved in project and improvement work on site. The role will be varied and cover a variety of work, focused on electrical engineering.
Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer
- Proactive maintenance and site PMs
- Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
- Working across electrical faults and maintenance
- Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
- Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine output
- Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site
Requirements for the Electrical Engineer
- Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical subject
- Experience working in a maintenance engineer or electrical engineer role previously, ideally in a similar industry
- Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment
