About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and meticulous graduate to join our client’s team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in insurance, particularly in claims/account handling and administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the claims process while gaining valuable experience in the high-end insurance sector. Ideally, the candidate will have a degree in Construction or Real Estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management and administration of insurance claims, from initial notification through to settlement.
- Consult with clients, brokers, and insurance companies to ensure claims are processed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of claims and update systems accordingly.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide support to senior claims handlers and assist in resolving complex claims.
- Manage customer queries and offer support during the claims process.
- Review policies to ensure coverage is adequate for the claims being made.
- Assist with general office administration tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Recent graduate with a degree in Construction or Real Estate or a similar field.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent diligence.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- An initiative-taking approach to problem-solving and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- A genuine interest in the insurance industry and a desire to develop a career in claims handling.
