Van Driver

Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 3 Van Drivers / Drainage Operatives on a Temp to Perm basis for our client who are a Drainage Contractor based in Reading, and working in conjunction with Thames Water. We can offer an almost immediate start to successful applicants. You will be working as part of a 2-person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway. This is dirty and physical work but will be a secure position working on behalf of a National Utilities Company so there is good long term job security. All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided for the role. No experience is needed for the role as We will provide you with the best training for this job and this means your first two days at work will be at the Head Office in Slough before you commence work at the Reading Depot. This position is a 12 week Temporary to Permanent contract and following the Temporary period this will result in a permanent position if successful. Pay rates for the first 12 weeks are £11.50 -£17.25 Please note: The shift pattern for this role is as follows, Monday to Friday from 07.00 to 16.00. Also you will be required to work every other weekend and the pay rates for the Saturday & Sunday are £17.25 per hour. ( please only apply if you can commit to working every other weekend) To apply you need: Your own vehicle to travel to work A can do attitude and are not afraid of physical work.
