Strategic Manager Senior H/F

Position Overview: The Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to ensure the procurement of high-quality materials and services at the best possible cost. This role involves leading a team of sourcing professionals, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to meet the company’s objectives for cost, quality, and delivery. Conduct market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and assess supplier capabilities. Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement programs as necessary. Track and report on cost performance against budget and implement corrective actions as needed. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure sourcing activities comply with industry regulations, such as ITAR and FAR, and company policies. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance. Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure sourcing activities meet their needs. Communicate sourcing strategies, goals, and performance metrics to senior management and other stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Strong knowledge of sourcing best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management. Proficiency in sourcing software and other relevant technologies. Ability to think strategically and execute operationally, balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives. Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
