About Our Client: Our client, a reputable engineering company based in Dungannon, is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing and developing mechanical systems and components for a variety of projects, offering an excellent opportunity to apply technical skills and contribute to innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications for new products and projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure designs meet project requirements and manufacturing capabilities. Conduct feasibility studies and stress analyses to ensure designs are robust and reliable. Assist in the development and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues, providing technical support during the production phase. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools.
