The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in driving our global B2B sales efforts across multiple sectors. You will be responsible for managing and expanding a pipeline of qualified leads, building individual sales strategies, and closing deals with high-level decision-makers. It is predominately a remote/ work from home role, with occasional staff functions and meetings that will be held near Cranfield, Bedfordshire.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities and expand our global B2B client base across various industries.
  • Manage a pipeline of qualified leads generated by our lead generation team, ensuring smooth transitions from lead to close.
  • Develop and implement tailored sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Present solutions to potential clients via video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Teams, etc.
  • Track and report sales performance, providing weekly and monthly updates to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with senior management to enhance and refine the sales process and strategy for maximum success.


Key Objectives & Metrics:

  • Achieve set targets for new B2B clients and revenue growth.
  • Directly influence sales performance, delivering results in line with established KPIs.
  • Contribute to overall company success by achieving personal sales goals.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of selling and presenting to senior leaders.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM tools; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • KPI-driven mindset with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience delivering presentations through Zoom, Teams, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and minimal supervision.


Desirable Qualifications (Prioritized):

  • Experience selling SaaS products.
  • Experience working in an innovation-driven environment.


What We Offer:

  • Base Salary: £40,000–£50,000 (depending on experience).
  • Commission & Bonus Package: £15k+ On target earnings and company performance bonuses.
  • Full-time remote working with occasional staff functions that will be held near Cranfield, Bedfordshire.
  • Flexible working hours, pre-agreed with management.
  • Laptop and necessary equipment provided.
