Interim Economic Development Manager

Interim Economic Development Manager (Outside IR35) - 500 per day - Merseyside - Council - Hybrid Working - 12 Months The Role: The role is based in the Strategic, Stalled and Small Sites team in the City Development Directorate This exciting new role will focus on identifying and bringing forward challenging sites both in the private and public sector for development You will help to facilitate the delivery of a wide variety of urban regeneration projects, working closely with various stakeholders to drive forward schemes that will have a significant impact on the social, economic and environmental well-being of our communities As part of the team you will help develop a future pipeline of opportunities, unlocking stalled sites and supporting the implementation of a programme to deliver residential, mixed use and public realm schemes, together with creating opportunities to bring forward new regeneration opportunities We are looking for a collaborative, inspirational property professional with a broad range of experience in urban regeneration and development projects, including the identification, development and delivery of place making projects The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, with excellent relationship management skills, and a clear track record of managing complex and challenging projects and programmes with multiple or diverse stakeholders You will have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, to plan, manage and secure the effective implementation of regeneration projectsVivid Resourcing are committed to equality of opportunity for all applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships or any other characteristic protected by law
