As the Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating client services, overseeing a national team of contractors, and managing key data preparation and processing. Additionally, you will handle the entire customer journey, ensuring efficient logistics, clear communication, and professional service delivery. The role becomes especially fast-paced during peak seasons, requiring flexible working hours and precise schedule and resource management. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal teams, assisting them in navigating systems, while also engaging directly with clients to ensure they receive exceptional service. What will my Day-to-Day duties as an Operations Coordinator be: Making and answering phone calls and emails, providing exceptional service throughout the process. Secure bookings in a timely manner, obtaining key information from clients and ensuring all necessary data is collected. Manage the customer experience from start to finish, ensuring smooth communication, adherence to set procedures, and handling production through to delivery. Record all contact and key information within the customer management system to maintain accurate, up-to-date records. Handle the logistics of the schedule, including planning routes, arranging transport for travelling contractors, and managing the extensive diary during peak season. Ensure contractors are assigned to the right locations with the required data and equipment. Oversee the order process, including collecting and processing orders from clients, ensuring everything runs smoothly from production to delivery. Address and resolve any customer service queries or issues, ensuring clients are satisfied with the service. As an Operations Coordinator, you will need the following qualities & experience: It is important to note that during peak season (September and October), the role will require flexible working hours, including up to 10 hours per day and occasional Saturdays. However, time off in lieu will be provided to balance the workload during quieter periods. Experience in project coordination, operations, or administrative roles, ideally within a customer service-focused environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules and logistics. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to work under pressure during peak seasons and maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Familiarity with database management and working with customer management systems is an advantage. A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a commitment to operational excellence. What’s on offer for the successful Operations Coordinator Basic salary up to £28k per annum DOE Holiday is 20 days plus bank holiday but you get extra holidays in quieter periods due to the nature of the business Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm, must be flexible during busier times.
