Weekend LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver

The Best connection group LTD Group is currently recruiting for Dedicated Weekend Class 1 drivers in the Stoke-on-Trent Area.We're looking for dedicated weekend drivers to support our client through peak period. Shift start times vary between 13:00pm & 15:00pm, the role will involve trunking to distrubution centres. You have the option to work just Saturtday and Sunday or Friday through to Monday.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a Class 1 HGV to transport timber products to various locationsPerform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and road-worthinessComply with all road traffic regulations and company policiesMaintain accurate delivery records and paperworkPerform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptlyProvide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on delivery sitesAdhere to delivery schedules while maintaining a high level of safety Requirements:Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E) licenceAssessment required prior to starting workMaximum 6 points (No DR10/DD10).Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and tachograph cardStrong awareness of health and safety regulationsExcellent driving record with no major infringementsAbility to work independently and manage time effectively What We Offer:Regular, consistent routes with scheduled hoursOn-going role with consistent and regular shift To apply, please Call Jo or Adam on 01782 209666.Benefits 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Ongoing Assignment Overtime Available Weekend Work
