What you'll be doing; - The successful candidate will work with the on-site team and continuously review and improve processes to ensure they are fit for purpose, accurate, and lean. - Learn and work closely with operational teams to ensure that data and reporting are effectively used to improve the efficiency and performance of the services. - You will learn to take ownership of operational data and maintain it to the highest standard, ensuring it is current, accurate, and real-time. - Develop and implement the latest technological advances to drive the digitisation of our services. - Support the delivery of a data-driven approach to service management where operational front-line managers have confidence in using Management Information to make better business decisions. - Support our teams with service changes, which drive efficiency through routing improvements, using spatial (GIS) technology to assist. - Learn and manipulate large datasets to perform service analysis and as part of work on our operational systems. What we're looking for; - Degree-level qualification in Science, Business, Information Systems, Environmental Sciences or Geographical Information Science (to be achieved by September 2025) - Able to work independently as well as a part of the team - High problem-solving skills - Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills to provide information confidently and enable the end-user to understand complex data analysis - Strong data skills and use of Excel/Google Sheets - Desirable: A practical understanding of Power BI, SQL, GIS What's next?
