Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: East Yorkshire
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, alternating between 6 AM - 2 PM and 2 PM - 10 PM shifts

Role and Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly and efficiently to maintain production flow.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a factory or a fast-paced production environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery.
- Must have good Pneumatics and Hydraulics skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working with a mix of old and new equipment.
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Salary and Benefits:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, working a rotating morning and afternoon shifts
- Salary: 42,500 per annum
- Contributory Pension
- No weekends or night shifts
- 25 Days holidays plus stats
