Closing Date 8th November 2024 Reference KPHNW/24/10/DOPM Due to continued expansion and increased workload, Kingsbridge Private Hospital Northwest are now seeking to recruit a Deputy Outpatients Manager for their Outpatient department. The role will be based in the Ballykelly site. Location: Kingsbridge Private Hospital North West Salary: £44,505.00 per annum based on 37.5hpw Department: Outpatients department - Ballykelly Contract: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week, (Mon - Sun) Shift basis. Weekend Cover will be required Responsible to: Outpatients Manager Accountable to: General Manager Job Summary The post holder will support the Outpatients Manager in the delivery of operational services across the North West Outpatient department. They will assist the Outpatients Manager by implementing new initiatives, managing systems and processes to ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with KPH policies and procedures. The post holder will ensure that high standards of patient care and services are delivered and maintained in accordance with the Company ethos and practice. Key Responsibilities: The post holder will be responsible for Outpatient services and will have additional responsibilities in the running and maintaining of OPD services and Day procedure Unit. The post holder must maintain clinical excellence, role model high standards of nursing care ensuring legal regulatory and best practice guidelines are followed. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality cost-effective patient care within budget constraints. Provide professional leadership to enable the services to respond effectively to the challenges it will face whilst providing efficient clinical and operational services. To set, maintain and monitor care delivery within the outpatient's department. Oversee high standards of personalised patient care. To comply with legislative and company policies and procedures. Ability to developed and maintain policy and procedures. Proactive in supporting all staff grades. Keep other departments informed of any changes in consultants clinics/ patients attending/change of circumstances. Ability and willingness to keep up to date of new developments within a growing industry. Ability to work in collaboration with other clinicians. Awareness of governance issues that reflect safe practice and reduction of any potential risks. Adherence to privacy, confidentiality, informed consent and security policies. Ability to tailor communication to the patient needs. Assist in the maintenance of a high standard of cleanliness within the Unit. Ability to motivate and initiate change in others.
