Recruitment Consultant

Anderselite, a national recruitment consultancy operating within the construction and built environment are currently looking to add Recruitment Consultants to our team, based in Birmingham City Centre. In this role, you will specialise in recruiting contract & permanent staff for a growing client base within the FM sector. This is a 360-role that will involve managing workload from sourcing through to placement, suiting multi-disciplinary consultants who have previously recruited staff within the facilities management sector (or similar).At Consultant level, you will be given guidance on clients to develop business with in the market, as well as upcoming growth sectors, being expected to proactively reach out to clients in the market, to form/strengthen relationships over time, with the goal of maximising sales and securing on-going business. Anderselite are keen for Consultants to develop their skillset and progress to Senior and Principal Consultant level, open to discuss timeframes on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, we are happy to offer hybrid working up to 2-days per week, based on positive performance and individual desk growth. Typical daily duties will involve:Canvassing new and existing clients within the FM sector, to bring in new vacancies.Posting job adverts and responding to incoming job applications. Sourcing, qualifying and shortlisting candidates, matching skillets to live vacancies.Qualification and reference checking candidates, to ensure suitability for live roles.Presenting shortlists to clients, selling candidates based on individual merit. Proactively reaching out to candidates in the FM market, to discuss work opportunities.Selling key candidates to your client base, as they come available within the market. Formatting CV’s, scheduling interviews and booking contractors in for workVisiting candidates and clients to strengthen relationships, undertaking aftercare with all related parties. Collaborate with consultants internally, to crossover on projects where applicable. Developing effective recruitment practices, updating internal CRM with key information obtained. Using AI software to assist in finding the best talent in the market. Use of various tools such as internal database, external job boards, LinkedIn etc, to grow your network.Ensuring base level sales activity are achieved per week, with weekly KPIs including: Jobs in, CVs Sent, Interviews Booked, Visits Booked, Placements Made. Promoting company values, ensuring all work is completed within industry guidelines (GDPR, IR35, SDC). Applicable candidates will ideally:Have 3+ years’ experience working as a Consultant within recruitment industry, ideally recruiting staff within the Facilities Management market (Or similar Construction sector). Have working knowledge of recruitment legislation such as recruitment best practices, GDPR, PAYE / Umbrella / CIS / LTD PSc Payment methods, IR35, Modern Slavery, ED&I etcBe positive and proactive, with motivation to develop and grow a desk including business develop and new sales. Have effective communication skills, able to build relationships with both candidates and clients.Be a process driven individual with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, working towards set KPI's.Have basic I.T skills, with working knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel etc).
