Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant Salary Range: £83.33 Per Day Location: Redruth Start Date: October 2024 Are you enthusiastic about working with children who encounter learning challenges at school? GSL Education is looking to hire a SEN Learning Support Assistant for a school in Redruth. This role includes aiding small group interventions and promoting positive behaviour in the classroom. Prior experience in a school setting or with children with additional needs would be beneficial. Your responsibilities as a SEN Learning Support Assistant will include: Assisting teachers in implementing behaviour management strategies. Providing one-on-one support to students with behavioural and learning challenges. Collaborating with the school's SENCO and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans. Supporting the overall well-being of students and contributing to a positive school ethos. Qualifications as a SEN Learning Support Assistant: Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting. Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and their implementation in schools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with varied needs. Relevant qualifications in education or psychology are beneficial.
