TP141 Commissioning Engineer – 3 Projects (Norwich, Bedfordshire, South Wales) - £Excellent Day Rate - 6 Month Contract + Extensions – 50% Site Based 50% Remote - Outside IR35 - ASAP Start DateHave you got experience commissioning 400kv substation protection systems? Have you got a TP141 or TP141A valid authorisation? If so, please read on...Responsibilities:Lead the commissioning of 400kV substation equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protection & control systems.Ensure all commissioning activities comply with National Grid standards and TP141 certification requirements.Prepare and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and reports.Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution on substation equipment.Collaborate with project teams and client representatives to ensure project milestones are achieved.Uphold safety standards and ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations.Requirements:TP141 certified with extensive experience commissioning on 400kV substation projects.Proven track record in commissioning transformers, protection relays, and high voltage equipment.Strong knowledge of National Grid standards and compliance.Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.Ability to work across multiple sites (Bedford, Norwich, and South Wales).Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Interested?
