As a result of investment and growth, our client, a firm with a big Scottish footprint, are on the lookout for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a dedicated and hardworking HR team. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you'll be steering all things recruitment, helping the business attract the best candidates for the jobs!

What You'll Be Doing:

As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be the owner of the full recruitment process. From sourcing top-notch candidates to ensuring a seamless onboarding process, you'll manage the entire recruitment lifecycle. Your mission? To build and future proof a talented team that's as excited about the business as you are.

  • Crafting Recruitment Strategies: You'll develop and design methods to attract the best talent across various functions.
  • End-to-End Recruitment Management: Take charge of job postings, candidate sourcing, candidate management, interviews, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Relationship Builder: Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders, offering expert advice and crafting job descriptions.
  • Sourcing Extraordinaire: Utilise social media, job boards, local connections and networking events to engage potential candidates.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance the recruitment processes and bolster the employer brand.
  • Candidate Experience Champion: Ensure every candidate feels valued by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback.
  • Feedback Loop Creator: Work with HR to manage exit interviews and leverage insights for continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven Recruiter: Monitor recruitment metrics and make informed decisions to refine strategies.
  • Agency Partner: Maintain strong relationships with preferred agency partners and assist in establishing a Preferred Supplier List (PSL) with our Supply Chain team.
  • Industry Trendsetter: Stay updated on recruitment trends and educate hiring managers on best practices and legal requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in recruitment within the Engineering, Mechanical or Manufacturing industries, or similar sectors.
  • Strong grasp of recruitment best practices.
  • Expertise in proactive headhunting.
  • Stellar communication and people skills-you'll need to build rapport effortlessly!
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A passion for recruitment and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
