Travel Product Developer

Reporting to: Head of Collections Martine Rose is looking for a senior multi-category Product Developer to join the team on a fixed term basis, with the possibility to extend. The Product Developer works closely with design, development and merchandising daily to bring the collection to life. Proactive, forward thinking and a strong communicator you will always be thinking about the collection from a holistic perspective, anticipate potential issues and come to the table with solutions. Work closely with design and development teams to bring each style to life balancing the designer’s vision, target margin and target RRP’s. · Work closely with design and development teams to meet all key dates in the critical path, ensuring protos and SMS delivery are achieved on time. · Research and develop techniques each season to elevate the collection and deliver on seasonal themes and explorations. · Research and develop seasonal fabrics, prints and trims. · Create and update tech packs for mainline collection and seasonal SMU. · Create all SKU’s in Zedonk with complete and accurate BOM information, style coding, HTS and factory information, ensuring data is up to date throughout the development season, prior to sales and after production fittings. · Launch styles with vendors and follow up regularly to keep on schedule, maintaining close relationships with all suppliers and travelling with the team when necessary. · Work closely with Head of Collections to ensure all styles are resolved at SMS stage and feasible for bulk production, including accurate forecast pricing, material MOQ feasibility and factory allocation. ·
