Based in our Head Office in Manchester and reporting to the Head of Demand Generation, the Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing our digital and offline marketing strategies to attract, engage, and convert prospects into leads and customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B SaaS, with a strong background in content marketing, and digital marketing, specialising in driving organic traffic and generating high-quality leads through inbound strategies and paid acquisition channels.


Key accountabilities


  • Contribute to top to mid funnel KPIs - website traffic, leads, MQL, SQL and conversion rate optimisation
  • Supporting with lead generation, qualification and nurturing to scale revenue and pipeline contribution
  • Sales enablement to enable new business team to close more deals, quickly 


Role responsibilities


  • Develop and execute comprehensive inbound marketing strategies to drive organic traffic, increase brand visibility, and generate qualified leads.
  • Develop,implement and optimise email marketing campaigns, including lead nurturing workflows, newsletter campaigns, and email automation sequences, to engage prospects and drive conversions.
  • Work with our digital agency to monitor and analyse website traffic, user behaviour, and conversion metrics using web analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Work in collaboration with the digital agency to conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic traffic growth and optimise website content, including blog posts, landing pages, and resource pages, for SEO and PPC.
  • Manage social channels to best leverage content assets, integrate with other digital channels and build awareness of key messages and thought leadership topics.
  • Manage and optimise the company's blog and content hub, including content calendar planning, content creation, publishing, promotion, and performance tracking.
  • Support with the identification and development of case studies, win wires and use cases. 
  • Build, manage and optimise web pages, landing pages, forms, and conversion paths to maximise lead capture and improve user experience.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track and report on inbound marketing performance, including traffic, leads, conversions, and ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales teams to ensure alignment on lead qualification criteria, the creation of compelling sales collateral and provide support for inbound lead follow-up and nurturing activities aimed at generating high-quality SQLs.
  • Manage external content production resources to build a multi-format, high-quality content pipeline that is designed to attract a high-intent buying audience.
  • Assist in the execution of promoting our events programme, helping to educate, drive awareness and convert our ICP audience.
  • Manage and maintain the marketing database, ensuring data quality, lead scoring and GDPR adherence.


Role requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in inbound marketing, content marketing, SEO, in B2B marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and executing successful lead generation campaigns that drive engagement and high-quality leads.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research tools, and on-page optimisation techniques.
  • Proficiency in content creation, including design, writing, editing, and content ideation, with a focus on producing high-quality, engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to enhance and optimise all campaigns and activities. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
