Field Based Electronics Technician

Job Title: Field Based Electronics Technician Location: Derby Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Permanent Our client Our client is a rapidly growing technology company that operates in the railway industry, they specialise in providing innovative on-train systems which are leading the way to developing improved railway maintenance activities. You will be responsible for: * Installation of on-train systems * Maintenance of installed on-train systems * Producing installation methods instructions * Hardware Testing * Electronic configurations * Systems testing, including but not limited to using Oscilloscopes, Flukes, Meggers. * Liaising with customers on product feedback to maintain continued levels of excellence General requirements: * HNC in Electronic Engineering * Mechanical or electrical installation experience * Experience in electronic diagnostic and repairs * UK Driving license * Happy with traveling and staying away * Basic understanding of Linux would be beneficial Contact information: Email: (url removed) Due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
