Logistics Coordinator

Are you seeking a new position on a part time basis? Our client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team to work part time. This role involves using coordination skills to help achieve day to day goals of the logistics and transport team. * Pay: £11.74 per hour * Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 to 14:00 * Location: Birmingham Business Park * Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, a company pension scheme, childcare vouchers, internal promotion opportunities. The Role: As a Logistics Co-Ordinator, you will: * Manage the day-to-day operations of the driver team. * Allocate drivers based on skills, abilities, and customer requirements. * Work closely with drivers to deliver exceptional customer service. * Liaise with recruitment to ensure optimal driver coverage. * Build and maintain successful working relationships with drivers. * Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise. * Handle inbound and outbound calls with drivers. * Coordinate with the Planning Team for smooth journey execution. * Provide updates to the Customer Service Team. * Respond to emails from team members, other departments, and stakeholders. To be successful for this role you will need to have previous office experience and be comfortable speaking on the telephone. This is an extremely fast paced working environment.
