Responsibilities for the CMM operator An understanding of the measurement and assessment of component features is desirable. An understanding of technical drawings is desirable. A willingness to appreciate the discipline of measurement and operate within its guidelines. Any experience of working within quality assurance. Be expected to carry out any other such duties as may reasonably be required of you commensurate with your level within the company. Be familiar with the company's Health and Safety Policy and in particular your responsibilities. Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those related to Health and Safety, Data Protection and issued Employee Handbook. Knowledge & Experience required for the CMM operator The ability to aid technical problem resolution and improvement activities, driving manufacturing processes towards identified consistent best practice. Reducing non-conforming issues. The ability to work in a team-based environment brain storming ideas to develop production concepts. Skills & Qualifications for the CMM operator Strong computer skills; Microsoft office, Outlook, Excel. Understanding of office management systems Strong time management skills Ability to multitask important Problem-solving skills Strong organisational skills Written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Professional and friendly demeanour. Benefits Working hours: 8am - 5pm Mon - Thurs and 8am - 1pm Friday. Salary: up to £42,000 depending on experience Competitive Benefits package
