This individual will ensure the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the business's objectives so products move from suppliers to customers with ease. The role involves strategic planning, managing logistics, optimising processes, and leading teams to achieve business goals and customer satisfaction.This individual will manage forecasting, planning, sourcing and purchasing of all products, from primary, secondary and tertiary packaging, to bulk, fill and assembly, and coordinating logistics around the entire process, up to delivery into our warehouses.Hard skills:Global supply chain management: Proficiency in handling and optimizing international logistics, including import/export regulations.Strategic sourcing: Ability to secure the best suppliers and negotiate cost-effective contracts.Supply chain analytics: Skilled in using data to forecast trends, assess performance, and make informed decisions.Process improvement: Continuous optimization of the supply chain process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.ERP and IT systems: Expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and information technology (IT) systems relevant to supply chain operations.Risk management: Ability to identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans.Soft Skills Leadership: Inspiring and guiding teams towards achieving supply chain objectives.Communication: Clearly conveying ideas and building strong relationships with team members and customers.Problem-solving: Quickly resolving supply chain issues with creative and effective solutions.Adaptability: Adjusting to new challenges and changes within the global market.Influence: Persuading and aligning others with the supply chain strategy and vision.Decision-making: Choosing the best course of action based on analysis and experience.Beauty Experience: Having supply chain experience in the beauty category, preferably with a global beauty brand.Overseeing forecasting demand based on customised planning spreadsheetManaging and reporting inventory cash flow requirementsManaging purchasing across all supply chainProduct SourcingSourcing new vendor relationships across all supply chainSupplier Management – maintain good relationships with key vendorCoordinating artwork needs for primary, secondary and tertiary packaging with creative teamSetting up and managing Bills of Materials for each productCoordinating logistics throughout the supply chain process on a global basisWe would love to respond to every application however due to the volume of applications we receive this isn't always possible.
