We are seeking a talented Robotics Programmer to join our client's forward-thinking manufacturing team. This key role focuses on developing and optimising robotic machinery programmes, driving cutting-edge assembly processes, particularly in robotic welding. Key Responsibilities: Programme Creation: Develop advanced robotic programmes for new assembly processes using CAD DTPS software. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve robotic system faults to ensure smooth operations. Product Testing: Collaborate on testing new products to optimise performance and quality. Documentation: Author comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting manuals. Factory Support: Work closely with the factory team, assisting in builds and improving product knowledge. Programme Optimisation: Enhance existing robotic programmes to reduce cycle times and increase efficiency. Reporting: Provide detailed reports on programme performance, highlighting areas for continuous improvement. Process Improvement: Lead Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives to streamline operations. Ideal Candidate Profile: Engineering qualification or related discipline (degree or equivalent). 1+ year of experience in robotic programming. Expertise in robotic welding systems is a strong advantage. A passion for innovation and manufacturing, with a keen interest in advancing robotics.
