A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR SUPPORT WORKERS IN SWINDON 6 BED SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED BETWEEN 5 - 18 YEARS OLD SALARY : £22000 - £25000 PER ANNUM (DoE) PLUS BONUS OF 10% ON VERY ACHIEVABLE KPI'S! 40 HOURS PER WEEK PLENTY OF OVERTIME IS AVAILABLE GENUINE CAREER DEVELOPMENT FULLY PAID STUDY SUPPORT PENSION SCHEME MATCH PRIVATE MEDICAL COVER LIFE INSURANCE COVER THIS IS A GROWING COMPANY THAT WILL BE LOOKING TO OPEN ANOTHER HOME SOON OUR CLIENT IS UNABLE TO SPONSOR OR TAKE OVER RESPONSIBILITY OF AN EMPLOYMENT VISA AT THIS TIME A PRE CONDITION OF THIS EMPLOYMENT IS THAT YOU MUST HOLD A RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK We are looking for an experienced Support Worker to join a great team supporting and mentoring Children and Young People who can display challenging and complex behaviour in day to day activities to help develop their emotional and social needs. You will be involved in many activities including camping, football, ice skating, gym and community groups and events. This is a role where developing positive relationships with those you work with and help support will be so rewarding. The key tasks and responsibilities: * Complete weekly key work sessions. * Organising and participating in appropriate activities for the residents you will be supporting. * Domestic duties, including laundry. * Cooking and shopping. * Personal Care. * Transporting the residents to appointment and activities. * Support Young People in accordance with their individual Support Plan following the corrct policies and procedures. * Safeguard all Young People to ensure their safety and well-being. * Administer medication. * Ensure all personal finances are recorded and administered. * Support the residents with completing and returning any homework that has been set for them. * Liase with staff from other departments to provide a consistent approach to all person centred care. * Report any issues / incidents relaying to staff and Young People  that have arisen that day.
