Primary Teacher - KS2 Location: Bristol About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team, with a focus on teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2). This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage pupils in their upper primary years, helping to shape their academic and personal growth. As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a rich and engaging curriculum, while fostering a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons across all core subjects in line with the KS2 curriculum * Create a stimulating and positive learning environment that engages all pupils and caters to their diverse needs * Regularly assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies where necessary * Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development, fostering independence and a growth mindset * Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential * Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and extra-curricular activities * Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring a safe and organized learning space Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in KS2 * In-depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment standards * Strong classroom management and communication skills * Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs (SEN) * Passion for education and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their best academically and personally Desirable Qualifications: * Experience with SATs preparation and administration * Experience working with children with additional learning needs (SEN) * Knowledge of technology integration in teaching and learning Why Join Us? * Be part of a supportive and collaborative school community * Continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills * Work in a dynamic and inclusive environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged * Competitive salary and long-term career prospects If you are passionate about making a positive impact on pupils' lives and eager to contribute to their success during these crucial learning years, we would love to hear from you
