We work closely with clients to map their vision, define the programme to achieve it and deliver the programme successfully, using a blend of Valcon’s consulting, data and technology expertise.From large-scale transformations to specific issues, Valcon can step in at any stage of the development journey. We adapt and flex our consulting, technology and data teams to provide direction, design and delivery to get the right results.Our Consulting Practice has 5 capabilities:Transformation DeliveryProject DeliveryOrganisation ChangeOperational ExcellenceTechnology TransformationWe are looking for Consultants with the following skill sets:Proven experience managing large-scale business and technology transformation projects.Proven experience of the application of Project Management methodologies, implementing governance frameworksPrevious experience working within an Agile environment, preferableProven experience of working on technology or data projectsRelevant professional qualifications based on domain area expertise – Prince2, PMP, Agile, SAFeAnd a demonstrated track record of:Ensuring successful delivery of projectsDeveloping and maintaining high-level project plansManaging all aspects of delivery including scope, timeline, risks, issues and budgetInspiring, coaching, and motivating all members of the project teamContributing to business development, solution development, and the creation of proposals and associated marketing to support client and prospective client requirementsActively involved in the renewal of their engagement on assignmentsContributing to the creation of collateral, the development of services, and associated marketing to enhance the capabilities of the Consulting Practice.Proactively embracing assessment and development processes to ensure the maintenance and enhancement of skills, knowledge, experience, professional insights, and competencies that underpin consulting value.Taking an active role in networking, events, and the personal and professional development opportunities.Responsibilities include:Assisting in development and providing ongoing maintenance of the high level and detailed project plans with our clientsRun, plan and oversee all aspects of a project, and meet the project’s goals on time and within budget.Organise people, tasks and resources to bring about a successful conclusion.Ensure adherence to project change control processes and templatesDrive implementation of best practice in risk policies and governance frameworksExperience of having effectively managed dependencies in major projects and programmesProgress reporting and risk managementExcellent communication, stakeholder management, problem solving and analytical skillsDeveloping and maintaining effective working relationships with senior management and key personnelWe offer you: The opportunity to work in a diverse and international environment with an informal culture, with a flat hierarchy, in which we cooperate across business areas and levels.
