SHE Manager needed to oversee Health, Safety and Environment legal requirements, policies, standards, and procedures for a busy multi-site food manufacturing site.

This role will suit an experienced Safety, Health, and Environment Manager who has worked in a busy medium sized manufacturing or logistics business or a SHE Advisor from a multi-site manufacturing or logistics business.

My client has an established history of producing food that is eaten in most of the UK homes every year. They’re varied food range spans across a range of categories which are available in the UK supermarkets. This is a great opportunity to work with a great team, great product range, and in a fast-moving environment.

Day-to-day you’ll ensure that SHE legislation requirements are implemented and followed, and that the multi-site business complies with corporate and legal requirements. You’ll drive a positive and constructive SHE culture throughout the business whilst delivering Continuous Improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices.

To qualify for consideration the ideal professional will need:

• Experience as a SHE Manager from a FMCG manufacturing, food manufacturing, or logistics business
• NEBOSH General certificate with aspirations to achieve or on course to achieve NEBOSH LEVEL 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health
• Proven track record of delivering SHE improvements and managing the SHE function at a manufacturing site
• Experience of interaction with enforcement bodies and authorities
• Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate and a good understanding of GMP/hygiene standards
• Strong communication skills verbal, presentation skills and written
