TTRO Technician

The primary objective is to undertake tasks using appropriate techniques to ensure that agreed actions and service delivery targets are met. Additionally, the role includes assisting with the delivery of Streetworks Permit Scheme as required by the team manager. Please note that there may be occasions when working outside standard hours is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders and Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices following the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992. Assist the team manager or principal officer in delivering the work programme, including producing managerial and technical data information and preparing specialist technical drafts for approval. Operate a PC to assist in the production of maps, models, graphics, drawings, and diagrams, ensuring that Transport Service communication needs are accurately met.

Job Requirements:

Experience with Temporary Road Traffic Orders (TRO). Strong understanding of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992. Proficiency in producing technical and managerial data. Ability to operate a PC to create maps, models, graphics, drawings, and diagrams. Effective communication skills to ensure accurate project support.
