FLT Counterbalance Driver

Major Recruitment are pleased to be working with a leading international automotive business with large premises in Baildon/ Shipley area, who are seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance driver to join the team on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities of FLT Driver: Operate Counterbalance FLT in a factory setting Load and unload containers Store and count stock within the warehouse Pick parts as required Perform manual handling tasks Adhere to health and safety guidelines Follow manufacturing processes and plans Handle potentially heavy items safelyRequirements: Previous experience driving an FLT Counterbalance truck Valid FLT Counterbalance truck license Ability to perform manual handling safely Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors Strong work ethic Effective time management skills Good written and verbal communication skills Hours of work: Monday-Thursday: 10am-6pm, Friday :10am-3pm Pay Rate: £11.57 per hour, increasing to £11.85 after successful completion of the probation period Additional Benefits: Long-term work with opportunities to secure a permanent position Large canteen facilities with hot and cold food options and vending machines Uniform provided TVs in break areas Social group organizing various fun events Free onsite parking Training opportunities to develop new skills For more information, please apply with your CV or contact Ellice at Major Recruitment.
