You in the role will: * Create personalized education plans for students with complex needs, ensuring they feel valued and empowered. * Engage students with creative, multi-sensory teaching methods that adapt to their individual learning styles. * Help students manage their anxieties and trauma, building trusting relationships that allow them to flourish. * Work alongside TAs and other professionals to provide holistic support for each child. * Set achievable goals, celebrate every success, and foster a love of learning that goes beyond the classroom. Your experience and qualifications: * You hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS. (desirable, but not essential) * You hold a QTS/ECT/PGCE certificate. * Proven SEND Expertise: You’ve been there, done that, and have the experience to back it up – particularly with ASD and communication/learning difficulties. * You have the ability to stay calm, collected, and focused, no matter how complex the needs or behaviours. * You’re not afraid to think outside the box to ensure each child’s needs are met. * You value the power of collaboration, working closely with a range of professionals to deliver outstanding support.
