Group Financial Accountant The Business A Biotechnology company, based just outside of Cottenham, Cambridgeshire are on the lookout for a Group Financial Accountant to join a rapidly growing business on a full-time, permanent basis! In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, management information, and budgeting. You'll work cross-functionally, gaining a deep understanding of the business while collaborating with senior management to prepare insightful reports. Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for someone who is eager to grow in a Group Accounting role. Key Responsibilities: • Manage year-end and month-end group accounting and reporting • Handle group statutory reporting • Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards • Drive the annual budgeting and reforecasting process • Develop and report on key business performance indicators (KPIs) • Use reporting tools to provide valuable business insights • Take on any other tasks that align with your skills and role What We're Looking For: • UK Financial Accounting Qualification - part or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA) • Comfortable working within an AIM-listed business • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly in accounting • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills • Advanced MS Excel skills • Able to work independently or as part of a team • Great communication skills A hybrid role, offering a solid career path, flexible working hours and a competitive salary!
