Overview of the Role:

The Group Account Director (GAD) International Ad Sales & Brand Partnerships will be responsible for achieving the fiscal Paramount Advertising International Ad Sales revenue target, focused on 360, Pan-Regional, Ad Sales and Brand Partnership deals, and delivering revenue across Paramount's linear, video and streaming platforms.

Based in London, the candidate will manage an International Sales Account Director and International Account Manager, working with the SVP Creative Services and VP of Commercial Operations to maximize ad revenues through prospect-finding, pitch-creation, and deal delivery.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  1. Negotiation of annual agency trading agreements and client trading agreements.
  2. Determining sales strategy with the SVP and VP Digital Ad Sales, including pricing, incentives, and key client targets.
  3. Coordinating with SVP and VP Digital Ad Sales to maintain and cultivate key senior agency and client relationships.
  4. Management of weekly revenue forecasting and provision of management information to senior management.
  5. Identifying new sales opportunities and exploring new revenue streams across linear, social, and streaming.
  6. Working closely with SVP sales to set annual revenue targets and sales bonus incentives for pan-regional revenues.

Management Responsibilities:

  1. Ongoing management and motivation of pan-regional, non-digital sales teams.
  2. Individual business allocation and agency patch management.
  3. Deal closure and management supervision.
  4. Coaching and goal setting for team members.
  5. Leading weekly sales meetings and providing clear direction.
  6. Liaising with creative services team and VP Digital Ad Sales for timely input into pitches.
  7. Representing the company externally at a senior level and building strategic alliances.
  8. Working with the VP of Operations on planning and management of campaigns.

What are we looking for?

  1. Significant experience in TV advertising with strong negotiation and trading skills.
  2. Proven ability to lead, motivate a team, and achieve targets.
  3. Strong relationships with senior media agency personnel.
  4. Client and Agency side experience desirable.
  5. Understanding of barter deals and commercials.
  6. Exceptional communication skills and a professional approach.
  7. Frequent travel may be required.
