They are looking for a part time employment solicitor.
In this role you will be working closely with the litigation team, managing a variety of contentious employment law matters. The successful candidate will be an experienced solicitor with a passion for employment law, particularly in the areas of disputes and litigation.
Duties:
- Advising mainly employee clients on employment law matters such as settlement agreements and unfair dismissal claims.
- Keeping up to date with all legal and regulatory developments.
- Observing the SRA's Code of Conduct for Solicitors and maintaining appropriate standards of professional conduct.
- Keeping up to date with employment law.
- Time recording & billing to target.
Desired Skills:
- Qualified solicitor with experience in contentious employment law (minimum 3 years PQE preferred).
- Possess a strong background in Employment law, including court and tribunal work.
- Be a team player and able to manage a caseload independently.
- Excellent technical and client care skills.
- Business development and networking skills.
- Be able to travel to firm's other offices in Dorset.
