Counterbalance Driver with element of warehouse duties needed in Bardon Hill- Coalville
The Company
Our client are specialists within health, beauty and pet care. Due to business expansion, they are now recruiting for a Counterbalance Driver.
Location: Bardon Hill- LE67
Hours of work
Shift: Monday to Friday; 08:00-17:00 (flexibility required)
Pay Rates: £12.40 p/h
The Role
- Operating forklift truck with all health, safety and environmental requirements
- Take delivery of goods and supplies
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck (desirable)
- Locate and store goods appropriately within the warehouse
- Operating and maintaining large pieces of plant and equipment
- Working with a close team of other operators to maximise line efficiency
- Operate production lines to achieve agreed efficiency targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Check for damaged or missing items
- Maintain organised quarantine area for goods from suppliers with quality issues
- Pick production orders according to the Production Schedule
- Pick off-the-shelf items for orders according to the Production Schedule
- Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
