We are seeking a Process Improvement Manager, to streamline and elevate ourprocesses based in London, to drive process improvement and optimizationwithin the Amazon Flex business. Specifically, this leader will work directlywith the Sub Same Day (SSD) business which is new and exciting business whichwe are growing to deliver faster speeds and wider selection to our customers.You’ll work with management teams to help us meet a number of operationalgoals through driving stakeholders through WBR, MBR and QBRs. This dynamicrole offers plenty of opportunities to continue learning every day. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called deliverypartners (DPs) – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex,individuals can be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. Amazon Flex ispowered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logisticssystems that allows delivery partners to on-board, schedule delivery times,guide them through their deliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, andmore. The approach and technology are disruptive and promise to challengetraditional approaches, changing the way the industry operates. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, analytical anddetail-oriented, possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, andbe comfortable working independently to drive growth and change in a fast-paced environment. An extreme bias for action is an absolute must, andcandidates must demonstrate a track record of delivering results. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities - Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives designed to innovatethe driver experience, customer experience, and to make our processes moreefficient to reduce our cost - Analyse feedback and use data to own and implement process improvements ata network level - Work with station management and other stakeholders to identify and solveprocess-related issues - Identify opportunities to improve the Flex business for our drivers andcustomers, then lead and coordinate large, complicated projects with multiplestakeholders including Product, Technology, Marketing, Customer Support,Legal, PR and Operations. - Work with operations teams to develop and share best practices that can bescaled globally. A day in the life As a Process Improvement Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of makingAmazon’s delivery network better – which means improving safety, productivity,and quality. Your role will require you to go deep into our data to root causemisses to goals or to identify future improvement opportunities and developplans with operational and technology teams to fix those issues for the shortand long term. You will report out business performance metrics on a daily, weekly andmonthly level, highlight the key changes made and opportunities that lie aheadand leverage your interpersonal skills to receive buy in and support todeliver those changes. You will play an active part in our long term planningof the program by Thinking Big towards our next large scale opportunities andformulating business cases to have our technology teams build what may berequired for the SSD network. About the team ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Obtained a degree in the last 2 years. - Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influencebusiness decisions. - Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders,including your peers and leadership - Advanced proficiency in document writing. - Competent in SQL Python ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques - Experience with supporting tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, MS Excel and MSAccess) .
